Sunkit padded cautiously over to the bit of the lake that was still camp. He put a paw in, then another, then the rest. Suddenly, he slipped, almost drowning. "Help!" he gurgled, but no one heard. He desprately kittypaddled out, and lay down, panting. He numbly padded into the med den.
