Desertstar came into the forest. "Moonpaw, training!" she yelled into Moon's den.

Moonpaw followed her mentor all the way to the forest. "So what am I going to learn today." She mowed joyfully and quietly as she sat down on a rock near a big tree. As the soft breeze blew through her fur.

"Okay. Today, we'll battle train. I'm going to attack and defend the way I think is best. It'll be ONLY playfighting. You go first." she mewed.

"Very well then." She meowed. Monnpaw looked at Desertstar she eyed him. Then she pounced onto her back. "That that." She meowed

Desertstar shoved Moonpaw off and leaped onto her. "Now. Take advantage of being smaller and lighter than I am." she mewed.

Moonpaw racked at her stomach and she escaped from her grasped. Then she jump up and pinned her down. " was that good." She meowed loudly

Desertstar smiled. "Yes, very, very, good." She leaped up, throwing Moonpaw off, and walked next to her. "Now, let's see a few harder moves. I'll demonstrate, you'll copy.

Moonpaw smiled at the thought of her doing good. "Kk then" she meowed as she waited for her to demonstrate.

"Let's try the Failing Bird." she mewed. She climbed a tree and balanced on a branch. Then she lightly leaped down and landed on Moonpaw, pinning her down. "You try it on me."

Moonpaw eyes were wide with surprise. "Ha ok then." She mowed as she climbed the tree and then she balanced perfectly on the branch. She looked for Desertsar and she lightly leaped onto Desertsar just like she did.

"Good job!" Desert mewed. "Now, for the Jump-pin. I'm going to climb this tree halfway, and leap off, twist, and land, pinning you down." she mewed. She demonstrated. "You try!"

Moonpaw ran up the tree half way and then she twisted her body perfect like a fish in the water. She loved to climb and jump. She pinned Desertstar just like that. "How's that she meowed

"Wow! Really good!" Desertstar mewed. "That's enough for today. We'll give you an assessment soon."
