Desertstar settled down on her little nest, sighing. She coughed, remembering her herbs, and ate her coltsfoot and poppy seeds. She sighed and rolled over, trying to sleep. Then she heard footsteps. "Morningshade? Is that you?"

Moringshade padded out form the shade. She brought a plump fish clamped in her jaws. " Yeah it is I brought you a fish,because I heard you coughing."she meowed.

Desertstar dipped her head to her friend. "Thank you." she mewed. She pushed the fish a little toward Morning. "Here, have some." she said, digging in.

Desert scooted in closer so they wouldn't have to pass it back and forth. She took a bite. "So, how ya been doin'?" she asked.

Moringshade raised her head at the thought of being a mentor."sure ill like to mentor her."she said joyfully taking another bite into the fishy.

"Ok then." Meowed Morningshade as she took one last bite to the fish then she stood up and gave herself a nice grooming till her pelt was nice and shiny and smooth.
