Shadykit was playing with a fallen leaf, her eyes bright with excitement and her whiskers twitching happily. She loved playing with crinkly leaves, you can throw them up and then they gently fall down. She jumped up and batted it with her paw, sat down and watched it as it slowly descended and landed right on her nose. She purred happily as she shook it off, she then watched it land on the ground. When she looked at the ground, at the corner of her eye, she saw a set of paws. She kept her small head down pretending not to notice that some kit was watching her.

Thunderkit licked her paws briskly as she watched a kit play with a leaf. She was as black as the night but yet had the clearest bluest eyes she's ever seen. Thunderkit's ears twitched as she studied her. "Hey there." She meowed quickly as she let out a little sneeze.

She placed her leaf on the floor and looked up, "Oh, hello." she mewed shyly. "Do you like leaves?" she asked as she gave her the leaf she was playing with,"Here you can have it."

Thunderkit looked at her with wide eyes filled with kindness. "I do like leaves but it's your leaf you can have it." She meowed softly as she gave her leaf back.
