Dappledheart was looking over a lake. Staring down, she saw a large fish swim near the surface. It could feed half the camp! She layed down and looked closer. In one quick, fluid motion, she speared it with a front claw. Suddenly, the forest silenced. She pricked her ears. What was that? A horrible stench filled her nostrils. Badger! She looked back just as she saw teeth about to bare down on her shoulder. She yowled as on of it's thorn-sharp claws raked her side. "Desertstar? Oh, High Clan help me!" she growled. Badger Defense, she remembered. She pounced on the large creature's shoulders, and sank her teeth into it's flesh. She felt blackness overwhelm her as she hit the ground. "Brackenkit, don't let this battle take me." she whispered. Hopefully, a patrol would be here soon.

(U can edit this if u didn't pass out, but...) Desertstar walked into the clearing, sensing something was wrong. She saw Dappledheart, passed out on the ground, bleeding, with a badger standing over her. Launching to attack, she yowled, "Willowfeather! Morningshade! Help!" The badger was feirce, but Desertstar strained to hold out until help came. She couldn't lose a life just for Dappledheart to die, could she?

Morningshade ears prickled as she heard her name there was fierce yowls and screeches. Williowfeather come on let's go!! She yelled loudly. Then she ran through the forest as fast as she could. She saw Dappeledheart laying down on the floor. Then Desetstar tried his hardest to hold on. Morningshadde swung herself under the bangers belly and begun to rake it's belly,fierce that it begun to bleed. Then she tried to avoided the bangers claws and she swung herself onto of the badger next to Desertstar as she sunk her claws into the badgers back really hard.

Desert fought the badger as much as she could. The badger fell off and lumbered away. She leaned over Dappled. "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly.

Moringshade chased the badger away for a little then she padded over to Desertstar and Dappeledheart. "You guys ok." She mowed worryingly. I'm fine just got a few scratches on my back and leg

Desertstar didn't answer, because she was trying to wake Dappled up. She didn't realize she had many scratches all over and a few fatal blows. She had put a life into saving another, but she didn't realize it. She was barely holding on to life, and she would lose her 2nd life right after this....

Moringshade tried waking up Dappeldheart too. "Wake up wake up!" Meowed Moringshade. She still tryed waking up Dappeldheart. "Um should I fetch Williowfeather meowed Morningshade very worrily

Moringshade padded towards Desterstar . "Your going to be ok." Meowed Moringshade . Hopefully she says in her head

"Dappledheart isn't dead she just fainted and has a bad scratch which makes her unable to get up but she is going to be fine."Cloudpaw mewed calmly. She is fine she thought.

(I'm dead. But I do have 7 more lives. I think Dappled is passed out, though.) Desertstar, knowing that Dappledheart was safe, flopped to the ground, dead.
